The Complete Studio Recordings è un cofanetto pubblicato dai The Doors nel 1999 e contiene gli album (The Doors – Strange Days – Waiting for the Sun – The Soft Parade – Morrison Hotel – L.A. Woman e la novità Essential Rarities) anche se tutte le canzoni contenute nella raccolta Essential Rarities sono già state pubblicate nel cofanetto The Doors Box Set del 1997.

L’unica vera eccezione è “Woman Is a Devil” che appare per la prima volta su di un CD ufficiale mentre tutti i Cd sono in versione rimasterizzata con un suono migliore.

Il cofanetto è stato ripubblicato nel 2003 in versione cubo cartonato.
