Per ricordare Jim Morrison a 40 anni dalla sua scomparsa, il 5 luglio 2011 è stato pubblicato dalla Rhino “A COLLECTION” il cofanetto con la discografia completa (The Doors – Strange Days – Waiting for the Sun – The Soft Parade – Morrison Hotel – L.A. Woman).

Il cofanetto include la discografia completa della band, 6 leggendari album che li hanno resi famosi in tutto il mondo.

Nel giro di 54 mesi i Doors hanno pubblicato sei album, una produzione intensa che si è interrotta bruscamente per la morte di Jim Morrison a Parigi il 3 luglio del 1971, una delle più grandi Rockstar rimpiante dal grande pubblico.
